vocaloid means so much to me. as a child, i loved listening to miku, rin and len songs and watching evillious videos on youtube. as a self concious teenager i drifted away from it after a friend called my music taste trash (rude), but the global release of project sekai led me to rediscover my love for vocaloid and fall deeper down the rabbit hole than ever. i love the sounds of the synth's voices, the infinite possibilities and variations for the vocaloid characters, the amazing creativity of the vocaloid community around the world in producing songs and music videos and fanworks<3 miku is my goddess and i was ecstatic to see her at miku expo in 2025!! i hope i can see her again soon ^.^
hatsune miku 初音ミク, also known as CV01, was crypton's first vocaloid to be developed and distributed; she is the most well known vocal synth. since her birth on august 31 2007, miku has become a beloved icon to many and performed in concerts all around the world. miku is voiced by saki fujita.
fun fact: the characters in miku's chinese name, 初音未来, translate to 'the first sound of the future'

Project Sekai
from painting to boxing, there are many miku games for her fans to enjoy! project diva and project sekai are the two that i've played the most, both being vocaloid rhythm games. project sekai is a gacha rythm game published by sega with four original groups: vivid bad squad, nightcord at 25:00, leo/need, more more jump!, wonderlands x showtime. each has four members and a unique sekai 世界 where their versions of the vocaloids exist and interact with the band members. i had a strong obsession with the game for a few years; my favourite project sekai characters are an, kohane and mafuyu.
Project Voltage
miku has done many collabs with franchises and corporations. my favourite is the project voltage collab between miku and pokemon, where artists teamed up to produce a pokemon trainer design and song for miku for each of the 18 types - see here for the list of songs. fairy miku, fighting miku, bug miku and poison miku are my favourite designs ^.^, what's yours?
Miku Expo
i went to the 10th anniversary miku expo held in australia!!! i love you miku!!! it was an amazing night and a really memorable experience <3 that was the first big concert i went to>w< the vocaloid music was sooo loud it blasted into the crevices of my bones and filled up my soul and miku said hi and danced and the kagamines and luka and meiko and everyone was there!!!!! aaa
